Design and Implementation of a New Website for the District Pharmaceutical Chamber in Warsaw
For the District Pharmaceutical Chamber in Warsaw (OIA), I prepared and implemented a new website based on WordPress. My tasks included not only designing but also comprehensively implementing the website on the Client’s server.
Due to the specific nature of OIA’s activities, apart from the publicly available part of the website, I designed and implemented mechanisms enabling members to access materials intended exclusively for them, as well as resources dedicated to specific groups (e.g. hospital pharmacy employees). I also introduced the possibility of two-way document exchange between the Chamber and its members, as well as functionalities allowing online payment of contributions and checking the current balance.
Additionally, for the OIA administration, I enabled the wholesale addition of new members, updating and verifying the data of existing users, and managing their payments.
The result of my work is a website that – apart from the traditional information function – now offers advanced possibilities of two-way contact with users, significantly improving communication and management.
