The Leibniz brand, owned by Bahlsen, is a renowned manufacturer of butter cookies. Unfortunately, despite global changes in the product service, the Polish website was significantly outdated. Its main drawback was the implementation of Flash technology from a few years ago. This prevented content updates and meant that the lack of support for Flash on mobile devices effectively blocked access to product information from smartphones and tablets.
In order to solve these problems, I was asked to prepare a new website project and its implementation together with a content management system (CMS). I had considerable freedom in terms of design. The global website could not be transferred 1:1 to the Polish market due to the smaller product portfolio and marketing campaigns conducted in our country. Therefore, I developed a project based on the brand’s Key Visual (KV), instead of adapting the existing global website.
When it comes to choosing a CMS, I decided on WordPress. Its intuitive use and flexibility in terms of future expansion were very well assessed by the Client.
